MEETING PACKAGE: Atlanta's Hotel Palomar Tells Planners 'Pick Your Perks'

Atlanta's new Kimpton hotel, the Hotel Palomar Atlanta Midtown, has announced new grand opening group room rates, as well as a new "Pick Your Perks" meetings package.

The rates, which are available through December 2009, start at $124 per attendee. The package, meanwhile—which is good for meetings with at least 20 guest rooms on peak that are booked by Oct. 31, 2009, and consumed by March 31, 2010—include a choice of three different options:

1. Planners can enjoy all of the following group incentives:

• 20 percent off the best available rate
• 5 percent off the master account folio charges
• Creative meeting concept consultation

2. Planners may select up to two incentives from the following list:

• 50 percent off meeting room rental
• 20 percent off audio/visual equipment
• Two VIP guest room upgrades
• Welcome amenity for up to five VIP guests
• Complimentary weekend stay, given at group discretion for future stay
• Morning food and beverage that includes fruit, juice and coffee
• 25 percent off the best available rate, plus perks, for a second meeting when it's consumed by March 10, 2010

3. Planners may select one of the following gift card options, or donate the value to a charity of their choice:

• $100 American Express gift card for combined group revenue of $3,000-$5,000
• $200 American Express gift card for combined group revenue of $5,001-$10,000
• $500 American Express gift card for combined group revenue greater than $10,001
