Chicago Hyatts Offer Summer Savings for Motorists

Two Chicago-area Hyatt hotels—the Hyatt Regency McCormick Place and the Hyatt Regency O'Hare—have announced packages to help their guests cope with the increasingly high cost of driving.

First, the Hyatt Regency McCormick Place has created a "Gas Saver Package" to help guests offset record-high gas prices. Available through Sept. 6, 2008, the package includes a $25 gas gift certificate upon checkout and complimentary self-parking for one car during the entire stay for $199, plus tax.

"We want to encourage our guests to keep planning their summer vacation to Chicago by easing two of the biggest travel expenses—gas and parking," said Hyatt Regency McCormick Place General Manager George Vizer.

The Hyatt Regency O'Hare, located just minutes from Chicago's O'Hare International Airport, also wants to save its guests cash on their cars. So, it's offering a "Park, Sleep and Fly 'Explore' Package." Available through Dec. 31, 2008, the package includes one night at the hotel at the prevailing rate and free parking there for up to 14 days.
