The Renaissance Providence Hotel Nears Completion

The Renaissance Providence Hotel is scheduled to open in January/February 2007. The $87 million restoration of this former Masonic Temple is the largest project of its kind in Rhode Island's history, and the hotel is a landmark on the National Register of Historic Places. Upon completion, the Renaissance will feature 272 guest rooms, including five junior suites and one presidential suite, eight meeting rooms totaling 10,000 sf of space, and an upscale restaurant, Temple. The Renaissance will be in walking distance from the Rhode Island Convention Center.
