Residence Villa at Four Seasons Resort Mauritius at Anahita, which has been totally refurbished, Four Seasons announced this week.
Located in Beau Champ, Mauritius, where it occupies the Anahita peninsula on the east coast of the East African island, Four Seasons Resort Mauritius at Anahita offers 136 accommodations at the edge of an idyllic lagoon. The Royal Residence Villa is the largest of them all. Totaling nearly 9,000 square feet, it has five bedrooms -- three king beds and two twin beds -- for up to 10 adults, plus five full bathrooms, a guest powder room and private outdoor showers on the ground floor.
Newly redesigned by designer Virginie Dalais, the two-story villa features natural tones, eclectic furniture, designer lighting, a new Mobalpa kitchen and fresh décor, including new artwork and wallpaper. There's also a private pool, a garden and a secluded beachfront with its own private boat jetty.
Beyond the villa -- which is ideal for small groups -- the resort offers a spa with 12 treatment rooms, four restaurants and a lounge, two tennis courts, an 18-hole golf course, four pools, a fitness center, a library and cultural center, and 2,250 square feet of meeting space. Plus, the property is available for buyouts.
