Hilton Worldwide has recognized The Roosevelt New Orleans, a Waldorf Astoria Hotel, as its 2012 “Hotel of the Year,” the hotel announced yesterday.For a recap of last week's top stories, check out MeetingNews Minute:
The distinction was awarded based on “exceptional overall achievement” in key performance indicators within Hilton’s performance measurement system, which tracks the productivity of each Hilton-brand hotel with value drivers for operational effectiveness, revenue maximization, operations, customer loyalty, and team member learning and growth. The Roosevelt New Orleans — which was built in 1893 and offers 504 guest rooms and more than 60,000 square feet of meeting space — achieved 100 percent in all key areas.
