Following an extensive renovation, a Ramada
Inn in North Charleston
, S.C., is now a DoubleTree, the property's owner and operator, Homecourt Hospitality N. Charleston, announced last week.

, the hotel — now called the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel & Suites Charleston Airport — features an aeronautics theme that celebrates Charleston's aviation heritage, including its Boeing plant as well as Charleston Air Force Base, both of which are located near the hotel.
