Everybody loves Paris. London is an old favorite. And Rome never goes out of style. But if your meeting group is looking for a European destination that's off the beaten path, it might want to forego the classics and consider, instead, the following 10 "rising stars" that are the fastest growing travel destinations in and near Europe, according to Bloomberg, whose ranking is based on 2017 tourism data released last month by the United Nations World Tourism Organization (UNWTO):


10. Armenia (18.55 percent tourism growth)

9. Bosnia and Herzegovina (18.66 percent tourism growth)

8. The Republic of Moldova (19.6 percent tourism growth)

7. Azerbaijan (20 percent tourism growth)

6. Macedonia (23.5 percent tourism growth)

5. Iceland (24.11 percent tourism growth)

4. Turkey (24.14 percent tourism growth)

3. Israel (24.6 percent tourism growth)

2. Georgia (27.9 percent tourism growth)
