Here are 10 such cities, from Euromonitor International's "Top City Destinations Ranking," covering 100 of the world’s leading cities in terms of international tourist arrivals:
10. Paris, France
In 2012, Paris welcomed 9.78 million international tourists, up 3.3 percent from the previous year.

9. Antalya, Turkey
In 2012, Antalya welcomed 10.3 million international tourists, down 1.6 percent from the previous year, but still high enough to earn it a spot in the top 10.

8. New York, USA
In 2012, New York welcomed 11.6 million international tourists, up 8.9 percent from the previous year.

7. Shenzhen, China
In 2012, Shenzhen welcomed 12.1 million international tourists, up 9.6 percent from the previous year.

6. Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia
In 2012, Kuala Lumpur welcomed 13.33 million international tourists, up 6.7 percent from the previous year.

5. Macau
In 2012, Macau welcomed 13.36 million international tourists, up 3.4 percent from the previous year.

4. London, UK
In 2012, London welcomed 15.4 million international tourists, up 2.3 percent from the previous year.

3. Bangkok, Thailand
In 2012, Bangkok welcomed 15.8 million international tourists, up 14.6 percent from the previous year.

2. Singapore
In 2012, Singapore welcomed 21.3 million international tourists, up 7.7 percent from the previous year.

1. Hong Kong
In 2012, Hong Kong welcomed 23.7 million international tourists, up 6.5 percent from the previous year.
