To help meeting planners find and vet meeting venues, the International Association of Conference Centres (IACC) has launched a new website, IACCmeetings.com, that includes a searchable directory of IACC-certified conference centers around the world, it announced last week.

"The primary goal of the website, which offers the only a global directory of IACC-certified conference venues, is to provide a streamlined experience for meeting planners who are searching for their next conference venue," IACC CEO Mark Cooper said in a statement.

According to Cooper, the new website was designed based on feedback from meeting planners, who requested simpler navigation, more shareable content, and functionality across desktop, smartphone, and tablet devices.

IACCmeetings.com is separate from IACC's main website, IACConline.org, which caters to IACC members.

"Our members are equally important and to better support them, it was important to develop the IACC member website to more efficiently provide our members access to important industry data and services," Cooper continued. "Separating the two websites was important because we wanted to achieve the best service for both audiences."
