For the first time ever, the International Association of Exhibitions and Events (IAEE) will stream IAEE TV — the onsite video broadcast from Expo! Expo!, its annual meeting and exhibition — live from the trade show floor, it announced yesterday. Produced in partnership with online event company bxb Online, the broadcast will feature a town hall meeting about the current state and future trends of exhibitions.

"I'm pleased that IAEE has teamed up with bXb Online to allow Expo! Expo!'s key networking opportunity to reach an extended online audience," said IAEE President and CEO David DuBois. "The online extension is a powerful means to get a pulse on the mission-critical issues and trends in our industry. Now, during this one-hour, online opportunity, we can reach out and hear from professionals everywhere who are unable to join us at the trade show in Orlando."

Taking place on Dec. 5 at 12 p.m. EST, the broadcast will feature DuBois; Eric Ly, co-founder of LinkedIn and president of Presdo; Chris Brown, executive vice president, conventions and business operations, National Association of Broadcasters; Doreen Biela, IAEE board chair; and Judy Owen, vice president, training and development, Freeman. Featuring a town-hall format, the presentation will include interactive Q&A between participants and speakers.

"bXb Online is proud to support IAEE in their first online extension from Expo! Expo!" said bxb Online Founder Tony Lorenz. "It's rewarding to be in a position to help extend quality education and interactive discussion within the events industry beyond the trade show floor."

IAEE's Expo! Expo! is taking place Dec. 4-6 in Orlando. To sign up for the IAEE TV broadcast, visit the registration page.
