The Marriott Phoenix Mesa, which sits close to the Mesa Convention Center and Amphitheatre in Downtown Mesa, Ariz., has completed a multimillion dollar renovation and is now the Delta Hotels Phoenix Mesa.
All 274 guestrooms and suites, the hotel's lobby and common areas and the two in-house dining venues, Cafe Azul and AZ Brew, were renovated. In addition, all 12,000 square feet of the property's meeting space and landscaping underwent a renovation, including the 9,000-square-foot Arizona Ballroom.
The Delta Hotels Phoenix Mesa's design has two sources of inspiration: the region's art scene and the city's surrounding Sonoran Desert landscape. The revamped interiors feature textiles and color palettes inspired by "the desert, its flora, fauna, skies, minerals, sunrises and sunsets."
"The Marriott has been Mesa's downtown hotel for years and we are excited to welcome the new Delta Hotels Brand," said John Giles, mayor of Mesa. "Our downtown is transforming into a vibrant arts, entertainment and innovation center. Delta Hotels is a great place for visitors to stay and groups to book a conference or event."
Delta Hotels has nearly 60 properties across the U.S., Canada, China and Germany.
