Kindred Resorts & Hotels has announced new experiences and programs for groups this summer. Of Kindred's portfolio of 64 independent properties, 10 hotels and resorts have launched new offerings.

In Vergennes, VT, Basin Harbor Club is celebrating its 131st season this summer by refreshing its guestrooms and cottages. Joanne Palmisano of Salvage Secrets Design is adding vintage finds such as boat oars and croquet mallets to connect guests with Basin Harbor's history. The resort also recently debuted a Boat Club, unique to Lake Champlain, and docking system, which provides group guests arriving by boat access to the property's 700 acres and amenities.

Health and wellness resorts brand Canyon Ranch has opened its Residences at Bellefontaine, a collection of 19 condominiums at its 120-acre location in Lenox, MA. Designed by architect Robert E. Harrison, with interior design by William Caligari Jr., these eco-friendly residences also offer guests access to Canyon's facilities and programming, including dining, spa, fitness, and wellness.

In Mount Tremper, NY, Emerson Resort & Spa recently opened a new full-service 6,193-square-foot Emerson Spa during the last phase of a $6 million renovation, which also included signature restaurant Woodnotes Grille. In addition, group guests can now partake in guided mushroom walks on select Sundays from May to October with the region's renowned "Mushroom Man," John Michelotti of Catskill Fungi. Participants will learn about local fungi as well as their healing and medicinal powers. Full-day wine excursions to area wineries are also available, with special pricing available for groups of 10 or more.

Sister properties The Nantucket Hotel & Resort, in Nantucket, MA, and Winnetu Oceanside Resort, in Martha's Vineyard, MA, have partnered to offer day-trip experiences between Nantucket and Martha's Vineyard every Sunday, Tuesday, and Thursday between Memorial Day and Labor Day. Via shuttle transfers from the hotel to the ferry, Nantucket guests will be able to enjoy a Taste of the Vineyard, while Winnetu guests can visit The Nantucket Club.

Southwest Florida AAA Four-Diamond beachfront resort The Naples Beach Hotel & Golf Club, in Naples, recently updated its championship golf course by golf icon Jack Nicklaus and architect John Sanford, as part of a $50 million renovation project. As a group incentive, the resort is offering a "Perks Are in Full Swing Group Promotion." Available to new bookings for programs scheduled from May 21 to October 31, 2017, groups with at least 15 rooms on peak nights, with a minimum of two peak nights Sunday through Thursday, will receive perks ranging from a welcome beverage and signature treat for all attendees to a complimentary beer and wine reception.

Ocean House (pictured above), a Forbes triple Five-Star New England resort, in Watch Hill, RI, just completed a multi-million renovation of all 49 guestrooms. Opening May 26 is the Secret Garden, a bar and champagne lounge, which will be available to rent for groups in June and September.

In Tampa, FL, the 480-acre Saddlebrook Resort recently refreshed its two Arnold Arnold Palmer signature golf courses and implemented programs to improve the courses' overall playability. The resort has also added a new 16-acre Golf Training Center and Range. The resort offers three golf packages from the Value Golfer to the Premier Golf Experience.
The family-owned Sonnenalp Hotel, in Vail, CO, is currently selling "Summer at the Sonnenalp" value-added rates for select dates in June, which will include reduced room rates as well as a lower resort fee, reduced parking, 10 percent off spa services, and discounted group golf rates. The offer will be available on June 11-14 at $160 per night. For group guests looking to integrate wellness into their stay, Sonnenalp has introduced an exclusive series of wellness retreats in partnership with health and wellness experts.

Vermont's IACC certified and AAA four-diamond Stoweflake Resort & Conference Center in Stowe, VT, recently introduced a new craft beverage program, prompted by the addition of The Alchemist Brewery on resort grounds, offering groups the opportunity to take guided and self-guided tours of eight craft beverage locations presenting brews, ciders, wines, and spirits within 10 miles of the resort. A new wellness program offers groups planned wellness activities and workshops, pre-paid spa access, and nutritious menu options. 

In Woodstock, VT, Woodstock Inn & Resort is currently undergoing a $6.5 million renovation of their guestrooms. Group guests can enjoy new activities including cycling on Fat Bikes, New England Falconry programs and fly fishing, as well as year-round events on the property's ski mountain and new wellness programs at the recently refreshed athletic club. This summer, the resort will also add a demo kitchen located in a historic barn at their farm-to-table Kelly Way Gardens for its executive chef and master gardener to host culinary events.
