The Hilton Guadalajara Midtown, a 225-room hotel in Mexico's second-largest city, has opened its doors. The property is in the sprawling Midtown Jalisco multi-use development, scheduled to debut Dec. 6 with a variety of culinary and retail establishments. The full complex is expected to provide condominiums, office space and a multiplex theater when complete. Midtown Jalisco sits between the residential neighborhood of Providencia and a major thoroughfare that leads directly to the Expo Guadalajara convention center, about four miles away.
The new Hilton, the second in Guadalajara, has a swimming pool, a fitness center, a restaurant, two bars and about 11,500 square feet of meeting and event space. It is the eighth Hilton-branded property in Mexico.

The skyscraper's guest rooms provide memorable city views, along with 55-inch flat-screen TVs, in-room espresso machines, rainforest showers and spacious desks with ample work space.

The hotel's signature all-day restaurant, Härth Kitchen Bar Market Guadalajara, serves international comfort food with a farm-to-table approach, using local and sustainable ingredients. Cocktails and tapas are served at Wander, the rooftop bar and lounge.

The hotel offers eight meeting rooms plus a 6,160-square-foot ballroom that can be divided into three smaller breakout rooms. Up to 550 attendees can be accommodated.
