Hotel sales and marketing organization Associated Luxury Hotels International (ALHI) is celebrating its 30th anniversary this year, cementing its position as the longest established independent global sales organization specifically serving the North American meetings and incentive marketplace, it shared yesterday.

Established in 1986 with 14 member properties and only one sales office, ALHI now provides sales support for more than 250 luxury hotels and resorts and has 20 sales offices across North America. In addition to North American hotels and resorts, its membership now includes more than 100 international hotels and resorts in 45 countries, destination management companies (DMCs) in more than 100 destinations, and 23 cruise ships that host meetings and incentives.

Members of ALHI's global sales team celebrated the company's milestone birthday recently during the annual ALHI Global Sales meeting in Orlando. ALHI CEO David Gabri (pictured above: standing/leaning, far right) and ALHI President Jim Schultenover (pictured: seated in the center, white shirt and grey jacket) were both present.
