Its worldwide portfolio of convention hotels, the "ALHI Convention Collection," has just grown by four, Associated Luxury Hotels International (ALHI) announced yesterday.

A sales and marketing organization with 21 offices in the United States, Canada, and the United Kingdom, ALHI currently represents more than 250 luxury hotels and resorts that collectively have more than 135,000 rooms and over 10 million square feet of meeting space.

Its Convention Collection now has 30 members, the newest of which are: the new InterContinental Washington DC - The Wharf (pictured), which will open in October 2017 with 278 guest rooms and over 17,000 square feet of meeting space; the newly restored and refurbished Omni Shoreham Hotel, also in Washington, DC, which has 834 guest rooms and over 100,000 square feet of meeting space; the Omni Atlanta Hotel at CNN Center, which boasts 1,059 guest rooms and over 120,000 square feet of meeting space; and, finally, the new Omni Louisville Hotel in Louisville, KY, which is scheduled to open in spring 2018 with 612 guest rooms and 65,000 square feet of meeting space.

"The Omni Shoreham Hotel in Washington, DC, and the Omni Atlanta Hotel at CNN Center are both outstanding convention hotels in cities of tremendous appeal for meetings and conventions," said ALHI Chief Sales Officer Mark Sergot. "We are very pleased to add those two fine hotels to our portfolio, and very excited about the two exceptional new hotels that will soon open, the InterContinental Washington DC - The Wharf and Omni Louisville Hotel. All four hotels are terrific choices for groups."
