This resort town in the heart of the Wasatch mountains attracts adventurers year-round. Rooms might be hard to come by in late January when the celebrities descend for the annual Sundance Film Festival, but there are plenty of properties ready to host groups in any season, including the 488-room Westgate Park City Resort & Spa, the 290-room Grand Summit Hotel, the 220-room Montage Deer Valley, the 200-room Sheraton Park City, the 182-room DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Park City - the Yarrow, the 180-room Stein Eriksen Lodge, the 176-unit Lodges at Deer Valley and the 159-room Waldorf Astoria Park City.
Following the pattern of the typical ski town, where people own residences that are in a rental pool when they aren't using them, many of the 150 fully serviced guest rooms and suites at the Pendry Residences Park City will be made available to visitors. Opening in winter 2021, accommodations will range from studios to four-bedroom penthouse residences. Amenities for guests will include a fitness center, a recreation facility and a spa with eight treatment rooms. The Pendry also claims it will have the area's first rooftop bar and pool; for groups, there will be two ballrooms, at 3,500 square feet and 2,250 square feet, respectively.
The 4,000 square feet of meeting space at the Waldorf Astoria Park City will expand this fall with the debut of the new Summit Room, which will host 70 people standing. The property's fitness center has been relocated to a spot overlooking the outdoor swimming pool to make room for the new event space.
