Sin City’s first celebrity chef-branded hotel, Nobu Hotel Restaurant and Lounge, has opened inside Caesars Palace, Caesars Entertainment Corp. announced last week.
Nobu Hospitality, the company behind Chef Nobu Matsuhisa’s trendy chain of Japanese restaurants — owned in partnership with actor Robert De Niro and movie producer Meir Teper — announced the new hotel in 2011. Located inside Caesars Palace’s former Centurion Tower, it features 181 guest rooms, including 18 luxury suites — ranging from 1,000 to 3,500 square feet — that can be configured to host special events
The centerpiece of the new hotel is Nobu Restaurant and Lounge, a 12,775-square-foot restaurant at the base of the Nobu Tower. With 327 seats, a sushi bar and a private dining room, it’s the world
’s largest Nobu Restaurant.
“Caesars Palace has a long history of reinvention, continuously elevating our guest’s expectation of luxury and service,” Caesars Palace President Gary Selesner said in 2011, when the hotel was announced. “Nobu's distinctive brand will bring a new dimension to Caesars Palace and will be designed to attract first-time visitors. The re-branded hotel tower, restaurant and lounge will offer an experience unlike anything in Las Vegas
, pairing exclusive accommodations with a resort famed for world-class entertainment, shopping and leisure experiences.”
