DAY 1: UNCONVENTIONAL CONVENTIONS
If your group is meeting at the Anaheim Convention Center
(the largest convention center on the U.S. West Coast), arrange a festive lunch break for them with Food Trucks on the Grand Plaza, right in front of the center. Here, your attendees can sample the best of the O.C.'s premier local food trucks, and soak in a bit of SoCal sunshine in the process. 6:00 PM
Unwind after a day of meeting by having your group head to the Anaheim GardenWalk,
located only two blocks away from the convention center. There are plenty of restaurants to choose from as well as special-event venues that can host your group, including Bowlmor Lanes and UltraLuxe Cinemas.
DAY 2: GOING DOWNTOWN
10:00 AM Downtown Anaheim
has undergone an extensive revitalization, and there's no better way for your attendees to explore it than onboard the Anaheim Resort Transportation (ART)
bus. For just $5 a day, attendees enjoy on/off privileges throughout the downtown area. Be sure to check out MUZEO,
which features a wide range of historical and cultural exhibits. It's also a great place to host a special event or lunch reception, whether inside the 5,000-square-foot exhibit gallery or in one of the numerous outdoor courtyards. 6:00 PM
In the evening, bring the group to the Anaheim Brewery,
located next to downtown's Anaheim Packing House,
a newly restored former Sunkist citrus packing plant that's now a hip food hall. The brewery, known for its 1888 brew, has an outdoor German-style beer garden that can accommodate up to 120, and an indoor tasting room for up to 50.
DAY 3: FOR YOUR AMUSEMENT
This wouldn't be the destination it is today without amusement parks, including Knott's Berry Farm,
America's oldest theme park, located in Buena Park. After spending an hour or two on its popular high-speed roller coasters and attractions, invite attendees for a sit-down lunch featuring fried chicken and boysenberry pie from the famous Mrs. Knott's Chicken Dinner Restaurant, which has been serving customers since 1934. 9:00 PM
When it opened in 1955, Disneyland Resort put Anaheim on the map and today, 60 years later, it continues to draw people from around the world. To celebrate its 60th, Disneyland Resort
is updating its beloved "World of Color" show at Disney California Adventure Park. The new show, "Celebrate! The Wonderful World of Walt Disney" features Neil Patrick Harris and Mickey Mouse as it details the story of The Happiest Place on Earth. Questions or comments? Email email@example.com
