Brew City just welcomed a new member to its hotel family: The Westin Milwaukee, which is Wisconsin's first Westin hotel, Westin Hotels & Resorts announced yesterday.

Located in downtown Milwaukee, near the Milwaukee River, The Westin Milwaukee has 220 guest rooms -- nearly half of which offer views of Lake Michigan -- as well as an onsite restaurant and over 9,000 square feet of meeting space, including nine meeting rooms and a grand ballroom.

In line with Westin's wellness focus, the hotel also offers a fitness center, a running concierge who leads guided runs along Milwaukee's lakefront, a gear lending program through which guests can borrow workout accessories, and several fitness-themed packages through which guests can leverage hotel partnerships for nearby activities such as kayaking, biking, and yoga.

"Around the world, travelers are realigning their priorities to put their well-being first, which aligns perfectly with Westin's positioning and continues to fuel growth in both established cities like Milwaukee and emerging destinations like Malaysia," said Brian Povinelli, senior vice president and global brand leader, Westin Hotels & Resorts. "With the city's fresh energy and increasingly active lifestyle, The Westin Milwaukee is the perfect addition to the brand's growing global portfolio."
