Aruba's white-sand beaches and clear-blue waters offer an ideal backdrop for groups looking for some sun and fun with their next event. While the Aruba Convention Bureau can help planners put together a perfect itinerary, here are a few ways to take advantage of this Dutch Caribbean island's rich offerings.

DAY 1: GET TO THE WATER

11:00 AM

Start your visit here by getting into the island's famous crystal-blue waters for some paddleboarding, snorkeling, kite surfing, or windsurfing outings. For the fishermen in your group, activity operators like Red Sail Sports offer deep-sea fishing expeditions, where attendees can try their luck at catching some local tuna, wahoo, or blue marlin.

5:30 PM
A luxury evening cruise gives your group the chance for a memorable adventure along the island's stunning coastline on the brand-new Monforte III. The 115-foot teak schooner can do everything from cocktails at sunset up to a full-scale dinner event. The seasoned culinary team creates handcrafted cocktails and offers a variety of menus tailored to your event. Since Aruba is a small island, there is always time for groups to enjoy the resort after the off-site activities.

DAY 2: GET OFF ROAD

11:00 AM

Get off road for a high-adventure ATV tour across Aruba's landscape. One of the most popular routes, a drive along the country's rugged northeast coast, gives groups the opportunity to see sites such as the yellow Alto Vista Chapel, encircled by outdoor stone pews, or the ruins of the Bushiribana gold smelter (built in 1825 when the island was a major source of gold). Red Sail Sports can arrange for the tours and customize itineraries for the group.

5:00 PM
Sample the island's diverse culinary offerings at one of many restaurants. Among the dine-around options to consider are the tropical menu of Papiamento Restaurant, Italian at Faro Blanco, or the stunning sunset views at Pinchos Grill & Bar. Afterwards groups can meet up at 297 or Sopranos for a taste of Aruba nightlife.

DAY 3: GET WILD

8:00 AM

Start off with yoga on the beach and let the group indulge in their chosen free-time resort activity such as spa experiences, PGA golf, offshore fishing, kite surfing lessons, and more. arubaconventionbureau.com

3:00 PM
Pick up some souvenirs at one of this destination's numerous shopping areas. Perhaps its most popular is downtown Oranjestad, where visitors will find a top-notch selection of products, both local and big-name designer brands, at a wide range of stores. The main street of this shopping district is often turned into a pedestrian walkway, allowing visitors to enjoy a leisurely stroll among the boutiques and jewelry stores.

6:00 PM
End your event with a farewell dinner at your resort or one of the many colorful and exciting offsite venues around the island. To create an authentic island experience, make it a Carnival celebration.
