The south tower of the former Baltimore Harbor Hotel in downtown Baltimore has reopened as a Crowne Plaza hotel after a multimillion-dollar renovation that began earlier this year, operator Crescent Hotels & Resorts announced yesterday.
Located just north of Baltimore's Inner Harbor, the Crowne Plaza Baltimore has 385 guest rooms spread across 27 stories, not to mention an onsite restaurant, a grab-and-go market, a 24-hour fitness center, an outdoor pool and over 20,000 square feet of meeting space encompassing a ballroom and eight breakout rooms.

Adjacent to the hotel -- in what was previously the north tower of the Baltimore Harbor Hotel -- is the new Radisson Hotel Baltimore Downtown - Inner Harbor. Combined, the two-tower complex offers 707 guest rooms and 50,000 square feet of function space.

"We have extensive experience and success across the country in full renovations and hotel openings. Our unique approach as an award-winning full-service hotel management company will help to maximize the potential of this great hotel," said Crescent Hotels & Resorts CEO Michael George. "The complete renovation to all of the guest rooms and public spaces shows the owner's commitment to providing first-rate hotel accommodations in a diverse and growing city."
