Recently, Successful Meetings sent a survey out to our readership asking them to tell us about their social media usage at events. Of the respondents 43 percent were corporate planners, 42 percent were association planners, and 14 percent were third party or independent planners. Of that pool, 92 percent of the association planners said pre-event promotion was the most important use of social media; 82 percent of third party planners listed it as their primary usage of the tool and 75 percent of the corporate planners felt it was most important. Here's what else they had to say.
