VISIT DENVER, the Mile High City's convention and visitors bureau, has named Bruce James its 2012 board chair, it announced yesterday.
James, who is managing partner of Brownstein Hyatt Farber Schreck, a Denver-based law and policy firm, has long been active in the hotel and leisure industry, according to VISIT DENVER, as he specializes in hotel and leisure law and has represented many of the largest companies in the hospitality, golf and skiing industries. He replaces outgoing chair Ed Bucholtz, who is general manager of the Hyatt Regency Denver at Colorado Convention Center.
