The Hyatt Regency Phoenix hotel in downtown Phoenix has completed a $15 million renovation encompassing its guest rooms, public areas and meeting space, it announced this month.

"We are thrilled to have completed the transformation and enhancements," General Manager Murray Burnett said in a statement. "We have brought a new level of design to Hyatt Regency Phoenix; a sleek yet comfortable experience for our existing and new customers. Whether guests are visiting Phoenix for business or pleasure, they can unwind with all of the contemporary design and amenities today's travelers crave most."

As part of its transformation, the hotel has upgraded each of its 693 guest rooms, which have been redesigned with new furniture and new bathrooms; its lobby, which now features "living lounge" areas for business and pleasure, as well as electronic check-in stations; and its 37,000 square feet of meeting space, which has been updated with new carpeting, wall coverings and lighting.

In addition, the hotel has opened a new 24/7 fitness center and a redesigned, reconcepted onsite restaurant.
