A new Hyatt-brand hotel, Hyatt Union Square New York, is now accepting reservations for stays beginning in April, Hyatt Hotels Corp. announced this week.

Located in Manhattan’s Union Square neighborhood, the newly built hotel will have 178 guest rooms, two onsite restaurants, a lounge, a 1,000-square-foot fitness center and an unspecified amount of meeting space, including rooms with private terraces and suites for small meetings.

"Union Square is a must see, cultural destination in downtown Manhattan, and visitors in town for both business and leisure want to stay in this neighborhood, but did not previously have the hotel options. Hyatt Union Square New York will answer this demand with an offering unlike anything nearby," General Manager Chris Holbrook said in a statement. "Every detail of Hyatt Union Square New York is focused on enticing today's edgy, yet sophisticated, urban traveler, and guests are granted the benefit of staying in the perfect location for a true New York experience."
