About the MiForum
September 26, 2006
By joining the MiForum community, you can network and participate in conversations daily with your industry colleagues around the world on topics as disparate as contracts, buyer-supplier relationships, compensation, career advancement, ethics, attrition, and third parties.
Participation in the MiForum allows you to:
Develop skills to enhance your job performance.
Ask more than 1,500 industry colleagues questions about planning and selling you were afraid to ask, or didn't know where to ask, and receive advice and recommendations.
Get information and resources for products, services, and venues in an educational forum where marketing is prohibited.
Build and expand your industry network and community.
The community is enhanced by sharing information and seeking feedback from others on direct industry topics as noted and on "Off Topic" ("OT") subjects such as news items, governmental policies, books you are reading, and movies you’ve seen.
As a MiForum subscriber, you can choose to automatically receive email messages from the other subscribers and have these messages delivered one at a time as they are posted, digest emails of up to 25 full messages bundled together, or an abridged daily email with a summary of the day’s activity.
You can read the messages that catch your eye and add your two cents to a discussion. You can reply to everyone on the list, or you can send a private message to any member who posts to the list.
The MiForum, which originated as the MIMList in March 1999, is owned and operated by Nielsen Business Media, the parent company of
MeetingNews and
Successful Meetings magazines.
