HCEA Names Nation's Largest Medical Meetings

The Healthcare Convention & Exhibitors Association (HCEA) has released its list of the top 50 largest U.S. medical meetings held in 2009, it announced yesterday.
Based on self-reported attendance, the top 10 medical meetings in 2009 were:
1. Greater New York Dental Meeting (59,166 total attendees)
2. Radiological Society of North America Inc. (56,824 total attendees)
3. American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons (33,440 total attendees)
4. American Dental Association (32,000 total attendees)
5. Chicago Dental Society (31,333 total attendees)
6. Society for Neuroscience (30,581 total attendees)
7. FIME Intermed USA (30,306 total attendees)
8. American Society of Clinical Oncology Annual Meeting (29,600 total attendees)
9. Healthcare Information & Management Systems Society (27,627 total attendees)
10. Massachusetts Dental Society Yankee Dental Congress (26,138 total attendees)
