New Service Helps Attendees Contact Exhibitors
January 24, 2006
Broadview, Ill. -- CompuSystems Inc., an exhibitor lead retrieval company based here, yesterday announced a new service that helps trade show attendees contact exhibitors after a show.
With BuyerConnect, an exhibitor's information is automatically uploaded to a website whenever the exhibitor scans an attendee's badge using the CompuSystems lead retrieval system. After the show, CompuSystems emails the attendee a password that gives the attendee access to exhibitor information on the website.
"A study by the Center for Exhibition Industry Research found that 80 percent of the leads collected by exhibitors during a trade show are not followed up," said Paul McCaffray, the chief operating officer of CompuSystems. "BuyerConnect puts the follow-up into the hands of the attendees, enabling them to easily recall which exhibitors they were interested in.
"There is no cost to the attendee and no additional cost to exhibitors for this service," he added.
BuyerConnect will debut at two shows this March: Exhibitor2006, in Las Vegas; and the International Home & Housewares Show, in Chicago.
