Dolce Selects SpeedRFP for Electronic RFPs
August 3, 2010
To facilitate electronic requests for proposals, Dolce Hotels and Resorts has implemented SpeedRFP, an online RFP tool that enables meeting planners to solicit bids from multiple hotels across multiple brands, it announced last month.
Using SpeedRFP, planners can now enter their event details online and submit them to a slew of properties, including any of Dolce's 27 upscale hotels, resorts and conference centers in North America and Europe.
"Meeting planners traditionally have considered the RFP process to be time-consuming and repetitive," said Barry Goldstein, Dolce's chief revenue officer. "With SpeedRFP, they establish an online account and keystroke the specifications for each meeting just once. SpeedRFP enables planners to send RFPs to multiple vendors without re-entering data."
According to Elite Meetings International, the company that developed and markets it, SpeedRFP soon will be integrated with Newmarket International's MeetingBroker, a lead management program that forwards RFPs to meeting venues' sales force automation systems.
"Our objective is to make SpeedRFP the industry standard for meeting professionals," said Elite Meetings International CEO Kelly Foy. "We anticipate many recognizable hotel brands in the near future will join Dolce in incorporating SpeedRFP."
