Northstar Travel Media Launches Strategic Marketing Division

Northstar Travel Media, parent company of Successful Meetings, has launched a full-service, strategic marketing business unit to partner with clients to create integrated programs that drive brand awareness, establish thought leadership, and build affinity with key audiences.
"Travel companies today compete in a very dynamic marketplace, and they need partners that deliver creative programs on time, with proven return on investment," says Tom Kemp, CEO of Northstar Travel Media. "We are able to leverage our content, databases, audience relationships, and travel industry expertise for the benefit of our clients with customized solutions to support their sales and marketing goals."
The new unit has identified five key areas in which clients have a demonstrated need for strategic partner support. These five areas include technology platforms, events, research, creative services, and social media management. Each program is precisely crafted from concept to completion to ensure synergy within the exact parameters of the program’s targets and goals.
Michelle Rosenberg, publisher of TravelAge West, a Northstar Travel Media publication, has been named vice president of the Marketing Solutions division. "Northstar and its individual media brands have always been recognized as leaders," says Rosenberg. "With Marketing Solutions we are taking our client relationships to the next level, allowing suppliers to ramp up quickly with a partner that understands their product, market, and competition."
Marketing Solutions offerings include microsites, destination portals, education and certification programs, sales/booking promotions, loyalty platforms, mobile/tablet apps, newsletters, live events, road shows, benchmark and branding surveys, and social media reputation monitoring.
