As part of a new global strategy, HelmsBriscoe, a Scottsdale, Ariz.-based provider of independent site selection and RFP services for the meetings industry, will begin directly licensing its brand outside of North America beginning May 6, 2010, it announced this week.

"The time is right for HelmsBriscoe to assume direct responsibility for our independent associates and customers," HelmsBriscoe Founder and CEO Roger Helms said in a statement. "Managing our worldwide growth directly, rather than through a master licensing model, is vital for establishing brand consistency in approach and service. We believe that through a direct relationship with associates we will be able to deliver a higher level of associate and client support. This will be particularly important as the company targets further global geographic expansion and market penetration."

Currently, HelmsBriscoe said, the company's global expansion is focused on Europe, where it already has a firm foundation. This page is protected by Copyright laws. Do Not Copy
