November 16, 2010
Christian Mutschlechner, director of the Vienna Convention Bureau at the Vienna Tourist Board and president of the Austrian Convention Bureau, was honored with the Moises Shuster Award, the highest honor bestowed by the International Congress and Convention Association (ICCA) at the organizations’ annual congress in Hyderabad, India. This was the third award for Mutschlechner this year, following the I.M. Austria Award and the Unity Award.
“Due to his vision and determination, Christian Mutschlechner has made a significant contribution to the continued growth of the ICCA,” says ICCA President Leigh Harry. “Besides, he has always been willing to share the marketing and sales successes of the Vienna Convention Bureau with any ICCA member, and to pass on his knowledge and experience to newcomers to the meetings industry. His vision of the direction in which the meetings industry can develop is an inherent part of the success of ICCA and his home city of Vienna.”
