Incentive Research Foundation Introduces Education Program

At the 2013 Rewards & Recognition Expo — taking place in conjunction with the Recognition Professionals International Annual Conference, April 28-30 in New Orleans — the Incentive Research Foundation (IRF) will launch a new education program for incentive and recognition program planners, it announced last week.
Titled "Building Better Business Results Through Incentives and Recognition," the professional development series will include onsite education in New Orleans and five webinars throughout 2013, not to mention online discussion boards. All told, it will deliver five hours of education around the following five areas of program development and execution:
• Business case development;
• Communications planning and execution;
• Award funding and selection;
• Technology and diagnostics; and
• Overlap with other strategic agendas within the organization (operations, marketing, etc.)
"With the shift in marketing dollars toward strategies designed to engage key audiences on a one-to-one basis, the incentive and recognition industry has a unique opportunity," said IRF President Melissa Van Dyke. "This series provides a fresh look at traditional thinking regarding motivation programs and offers new rationale from today's most credible business sources, including Harvard Business Review, Towers-Watson and others."
