Carlson Marketing Teams With IMEX America for Hosted Buyer Event

IMEX America has formed an alliance with brand loyalty and engagement company Carlson Marketing, which regularly organizes meetings, incentives and events for its corporate clients, it announced yesterday.

As part of the alliance, Carlson Marketing has agreed to hold a dedicated educational event in Las Vegas for 100 of its clients, buyers and account executives. After the event, which will take place on Oct. 10, 2011 — the day before the inaugural IMEX America meetings, events and incentive travel trade show — each of Carlson Marketing's attendees will then attend IMEX America as part of its hosted buyer program.

"We know the proven success of IMEX in Frankfurt and look forward to an energizing and productive North American show in 2011," said Fay Beauchine, president of Carlson Marketing's engagement and events division. "We are excited to be involved in the first IMEX America. We know that travel engages and motivates, which makes this show an excellent fit for us and our clients."

Because its corporate clients include Fortune 1,000 companies in the financial services, travel, telecom, retail, consumer goods and automotive sectors, Carlson Marketing has promised to deliver to IMEX America "high-level corporate meetings and events buyers with significant U.S. as well as international spending power."
